Today marks a significant milestone: the revival and complete overhaul of my blog! After a long hiatus, I've embarked on a major migration from Jekyll to Zola, breathing new life into this corner of the internet. Hereβs a quick rundown of the whirlwind of changes:
- Zola Migration & Theme Adoption: Successfully moved to the blazing-fast
Zola static site generator, adopting the sleek
anemonetheme. - Content Overhaul: Restructured all blog posts into a clean
content/blog/directory, standardized front matter for consistency (dates, lowercase tags,[extra]fields), and fixed all those pesky/public/image links. - New Articles Galore: Published a series of new posts reflecting on my
journey:
- My personal Jekyll to Zola migration and how Gemini CLI streamlined the process.
- Reflections on past tech trends with deep dives into the rise and fall of Coinhive and HashFlare.
- Introduced my very own Quoty CLI tool, a fun solution for better Git commit messages.
- Shared a personal reflection on my blogging hiatus and inspiration, connecting it to my dotfiles project.
